We are looking for a manufacturing engineer to join our team. You will work in the mechanical team with the goals to advance the development and manufacturing process of our general-purpose robots.
Responsibilities
● Design and optimize manufacturing processes for robotics systems, focusing on
assembly, testing, and quality control.
● Oversee production schedules, material procurement, and workflow to meet targets
efficiently.
● Develop tools, fixtures, and testing rigs to support consistent, scalable production.
● Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and BOMs to ensure streamlined
operations and compliance.
● Implement inspection processes and quality standards across manufacturing stages.
● Manage vendor relationships, optimize material sourcing, and drive cost reduction
initiatives.
● Plan production capacity and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance
productivity and efficiency.
Required Skills
● Knowledge of 3D printing, assembly, machining, welding, injection molding, and additive
manufacturing.
● Proficiency in lean manufacturing practices, including 5S, Kaizen, and value stream
mapping.
● Skilled in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Autodesk) for tool design
and machining operations.
● Familiarity with QMS frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality assurance
implementation.
● Understanding of materials and processes for metals, plastics, and composites.
● Experience in procurement, vendor management, and logistics.
● Ability to conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and process improvement for
profitability.
