Job Description

• Engage in problem-solving activities related to factory automation issues, including but not limited to, driving continuous improvements in system software and human efficiency
• Contribute to deployment, validation, system design, data flow optimization, and continuous improvement. And influence the development of system software across one or more layers of the software stack, including firmware, drivers, operating systems, and/or middleware, to enable Intel platforms and technologies.
• Participate in cross stack software optimization and contribute to reference platform development for specific domains and internal factory IT/automation segments within a semiconductor manufacturing environment
• As an intern, learn and apply knowledge, build skills, and explore future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel’s business goals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Automation, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, or related fields. Preference is given to students in their final year who require an internship opportunity.
• Proficient in Microsoft platforms, with knowledge of computer management, GitHub, Python, AI/ML, and LLM technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work on site four days per week.
• Ability to commit to a minimum six-month internship program.
