2) Intern - Market Access – Health Economics | Hanoi
Strategic Opportunities
- Policy & Health financing analysis: The intern will be responsible for conducting research, synthesizing information, and preparing reports and presentations related to the following areas:
- Reimbursement Listing Process: Gain exposure to the end-to-end reimbursement listing process in Vietnam, including mapping of listing criteria, understanding evidence requirements, and supporting analysis of key decision factors.
- Systematic Review of Reimbursement Policies: Conduct a systematic review of reimbursement policies in Vietnam and selected reference countries, with a focus on support mechanisms, decision-making drivers, and trends in HTA (Health Technology Assessment) adoption.
- Health Financing Initiative Development: Support the development of an innovative health financing initiative by benchmarking global financing models, assessing local feasibility, and contributing data-driven recommendations to inform strategic direction.
- Health economics research support: Conduct literature searching and data screening for economic, epidemiological, and burden-of-disease evidence. Support extraction and synthesis of data informing value stories, cost-impact discussions, and health financing analyses.
- Other MA projects: Assist other MA team 2026 projects to enhance patient access and optimize business processes.
Learning Outcomes
- Clearly explain the end-to-end reimbursement listing process in Vietnam, completion of a structured reports and presentations summarizing reimbursement insights and strategic implications
- Submission of a presentation, identify key elements such as support models, decision drivers, HTA adoption trends in reimbursement with comparisons across countries. Identification of at least 3–5 insights or recommendations based on policy analysis.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the health financing models and contribute evidence-based inputs into the draft model development
- Conduct structured literature searching, data screening, and extraction contributing to health economic research. Demonstrated accuracy and reliability in screening and extraction tasks, have ability to articulate how economic evidence contributes to value arguments and decision-making
Required Skills/Qualifications?
- Relevant fields of study: Pharmacy, Medical Doctor, Public Health or other Health Science-related degrees
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities with a genuine interest in Patient Access.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Language: Strong reading and writing proficiency in English is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, eager to learn; management skills in a fast-paced environment and strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
3) Intern - Market Access – Patient Access | HCM
Strategic Opportunities
- Access solution Initiatives: Support the exploration, assessment and initiation of access solution initiatives to enhance patient access to J&J innovative therapies.
- PAP (Patient Assistance Program): is one of the most critical access levers in self-pay market.
- Through a PAP more patients can have access to JNJ’s innovative medicines. Hence it is essential to maintain a robust and efficient operating model to ensure timely patient access. The candidate is expected to demonstrate a strong project management capability and manage growing patients’ volume and operational complexity.
- Transition from Manual to Digital operating model: Change readiness and maintain deployment tracker and milestone log.
- Project Documentation & Governance enhancement: consolidate operational records into structured Project Document Repository, document standardization & stream-line process.
- Data governance and performance monitoring: review and monitor data of PAPs in maintaining audit-ready document structure.
- Cost Control to be aligned with approval baseline.
- Other MA projects: Assist other MA team 2026 projects to enhance patient access and optimize business processes.
