Job Summary
At Qualcomm AI Research Vietnam, Research Engineers play a key role in bridging cutting-edge AI research with practical implementation. They collaborate closely with Research Scientists to develop, optimize, and deploy advanced AI technologies on Snapdragon devices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and develop novel AI-powered features for Snapdragon mobile devices, and contribute to commercial prototypes and demos.
Key responsibilities

AI Use Case Identification & Validation:

Collaborate with engineering & research teams to identify potential AI-powered features and products for Snapdragon mobile devices.

Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify user pain points and strategic opportunities for AI innovation.

Assist in developing and presenting business cases for new AI initiatives, outlining their potential impact and feasibility.

Experimentation & Prototyping

Partner closely with engineering and research teams to translate AI use cases into clear technical requirements and product specifications.

Design and execute experiments to validate the viability of potential AI applications.

Contribute to the development of functional prototypes, demos, and proofs-of-concept for new AI features.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor‘s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Strong foundational knowledge of mobile technology and artificial intelligence.

Product Management or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Familiarity with market research or competitive analysis.

Experience working in a collaborative team environment or large, matrixed organization.
