About the job

What will you do?

  • Contribute to the purchasing database update by providing necessary information to commodity managers / supplier leaders / update database of spend
  • Supplier information update on system (SAP)
  • Help maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
  • Collaborate with global & regional categories (RCM/SSL) in defining, deploying of category strategy and initiatives. Identify business needs, market evolution, support sourcing, supplier-base development & optimization.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to promote co-development, innovations, drive “Green” initiative (e.g., recycled resin, zero carbon program, green packaging etc.)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in factories & suppliers in Asia Pacific to manage strategic transfer projects.
  • Support cross-functional team to mitigate supplier conflict, invoice dispute, supplies risk, and collaborate to drive supplier performance in term of cost, quality, and delivery

Location: Schneider Electric Manufacturing Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, Tang Nhon Phu Ward, HCM city

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Good English proficiency.
  • Job Related Experience:

    · Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    · Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
    · Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    · Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
