JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern Data Analyst to join the QS Voting Project at GE. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to VinUniversity’s ambitious goal of achieving Top 100 university status by supporting the Academic Reputation component of the QS World University Rankings. As an intern, you will assist in researching, organizing, and evaluating data using Microsoft Excel as primary tool and basic AI tools, working closely with project teams to produce reliable insights that enhance VinUni’s global academic reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in researching data for the QS Academic Voting Project using AI tools (e.g., web scraping or data aggregation tools) to collect Academic Reputation metrics.
- Organize and clean datasets in Microsoft Excel to ensure accuracy.
- Verify the accuracy of contact information.
- Support data evaluation by identifying basic trends under team guidance.
- Help prepare simple reports or charts to share findings.
- Collaborate with team members to align data with project goals.
- Assist in preparing materials for QS submissions.
- Suggest ideas for improving data collection for future tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current VinUni student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, basic charts).
- Familiarity with simple AI tools for data research (e.g., ChatGPT, Grok, Notebook LLM, or similar).
- Ability to evaluate the accuracy of contact information with attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and basic communication skills for team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines
