Job description

The Social Media Trainee (SMT) will support the execution of social media strategies for Clients’ businesses. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the SMT will collaborate with the Social Media team (SMC and SO), Creative team, Account team, and other sister agencies within the Groupe.

 

The primary focus of this role is to manage owned social media channels, ensuring content consistency, engagement, and performance tracking. The SMT will work closely with internal teams and act as an execution contact point for Clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Scheduling: Develop, curate, and maintain a high-quality content calendar for all Client social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Threads, LinkedIn, Twitter).
  • Community Management: Monitor and manage interactions across Client’s social media platforms, responding to comments, questions, and messages promptly and professionally.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Generate reports on key metrics, trends, and campaign effectiveness to optimize performance.
  • Execution & Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of content plans.
  • Implement social media campaigns according to the approved strategy and calendar.
  • Support content production, including assisting in photo/video shoots and basic editing.
  • Trend Monitoring & Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media technologies, and competitive benchmarks.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Given the dynamic nature of social media, the SMT should be available to work flexible hours when needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
  • Ability to analyze social media performance using analytics tools.
  • Experience in content ideation and execution (e.g., writing, visual content planning).
  • Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic knowledge of photo/video content creation and editing tools is a plus.
