Role Overview
The Technology Research & Partnership will coordinate R&D initiatives, technology scouting,
and external partnerships (academia, suppliers, start-ups) in the AI/robotics/mechatronics
space. While technical background in robotics/AI/mechanics is a plus, it’s not strictly required.
We value strong analytical thinking, project coordination, and ability to drive collaboration
across teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and evaluate new technologies, trends and opportunities in AI, robotics,
automation, and related fields.
• Build and manage relationships with In/external partners: research institutes,
universities, suppliers, startups, potential collaborators.
• Manage internal research projects: coordinate cross-functional teams (hardware,
software, data, AI, operations), track progress, ensure milestones and deliverables.
• Draft partnership proposals, collaboration agreements, joint research plans.
• Support technology transfer, prototype development, pilot studies, and early-stage
testing.
• Monitor competitive landscape and market developments; prepare periodic
reports/summaries with insights & recommendations.
• Conduct market surveillance and benchmarking: regularly survey industry developments
in robotics/AI; track competitor products/solutions; benchmark features, pricing,
performance and positioning.
• Perform market analysis: collect and analyze market data (trends, demands, customer
segments, adoption rates) to help shape company’s go-to-market strategy, product
roadmap, solution positioning.
• Assist senior leadership (Strategic Manager/Director/CTO / Tech-Exec) with strategic
planning, resource allocation, and roadmap definition for technology & partnerships.
• Optionally, oversee due diligence for potential collaborations: feasibility, cost-benefit
analysis, ROI estimations.
Preferred / Useful Skills & Qualities
• Bachelor’s degree in Business management, Finance, Foreign trade, Engineering,
Computer Science, Robotics / Automation, Mechatronics, AI, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and communication skills.
• Good project management / coordination skills; able to work across multiple teams and
disciplines.
• Interest or familiarity with AI, robotics, automation, technology trends but not
mandatory.
• Ability to draft clear proposals, documents, and communicate with both technical and
non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, curious, resource-ful: willing to research, learn fast, network with external
partners.
• Comfortable working in a fast-changing, ambitious R&D/innovation environment.
