This role is responsible for managing key accounts within the Modern Trade channel, developing and maintaining strong relationships with major clients (Aeon, Emart, Co.op, etc.), driving lead generation strategies, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves executing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and identifying new opportunities to grow business revenue while fostering long-term partnerships.
1. B2B Acquisition

Identify and approach potential business customers through cold calls, emails, and networking.

Conduct market research to identify potential target businesses.

Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals that align with customer needs and the company’s direction.

Negotiate terms of sales agreements and successfully close deals.

Build a pipeline of qualified leads and ensure consistent follow-up to maximize conversion rates.
2. Client / Modern Trade Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new customers.

Regularly communicate with customers to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.

Provide exceptional post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering loyalty.

Address and resolve client inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.

Actively track client activity to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
3. Sales Performance Tracking

Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including acquisition rates and retention trends.

Use CRM tools to manage client interactions, track pipeline progress, and streamline communication.

Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

Support management with insights and recommendations to improve sales processes.
Relevant Experience & Requirements

Industry Experience: 2-3 years of Sales B2B experience in the FMCG/Fashion industry.

Modern Trade Knowledge: Experience working with modern trade channels (supermarkets/hypermarkets) in negotiating contracts, pricing, and product display is an advantage.

Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Track Record: Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota.

Competencies: Strong problem-solving ability; ability to work independently and withstand pressure.

Language: Basic English.
