General Purpose:

As a Performance Test Engineer, your mission is to:

• Develop Test script and execute test script for levels under Test
• Collect data and report product performance every firmware drop
• Automate and improve test cases to get more accuracy data

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

Expectations: 

• Good knowledge of analog and digital circuits
• Awareness of Automation Test (Test harness, Tools, scripting languages)
• Hands-on experience in debugging and validations tools
• Experience in software testing
• Strong knowledge of PCs (especially gaming peripherals)
• Proficiency in English communication
• Work with cross functional teams (in US and Taiwan)

Responsible for: 

• Develop new Automation tests for new and upcoming software projects
• Improve/update software automation test cases to current standards
• Able to present and explain data for a wide audience
• Ability to create and maintain tasks within Smartsheets

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Ability to perform tests in a timely and efficient manner.
• C/C++ programming languages
• Python scripting languages
• Basic knowledge of Schematic and PCB
• Basic knowledge in Micro-controller
• Windows bash shell scripting
• Familiar with Smartsheet and Jira
• Must be a critical thinker with excellent verbal and written skills
