RESPONSIBILITIES

CI/CD & Automation

• Design, implement, and manage robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Automate software delivery processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management
• Develop, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure Container Apps, networking components, and database services.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Version Control & Configuration Management
• Employ Git for managing and tracking all code changes, including infrastructure and configuration code.
• Work with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Monitoring & Logging
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Ensure proactive issue detection, system performance optimization, and operational reliability.

Security & Compliance

• Enforce security best practices across the Azure environment, including RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault for secrets management.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration & Deployment
• Partner with development teams to streamline application deployment, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Work extensively with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for containerized applications.
• Troubleshooting & Documentation
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, infrastructure, and operational stability.
• Create and maintain clear, detailed documentation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure configurations, and operational processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience in Azure DevOps, AKS, Azure Container Apps, Terraform, Git.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture.
• Monitoring & Security
• Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
• Knowledge of RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault, and secure DevOps practices.
• Certifications (Preferred)
• Microsoft Azure certifications: AZ-400 (Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions), AZ-104 (Azure Administrator).
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD) are a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
