Job Description
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Good communication skills in English (Japanese is a plus)
- GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above.
- Good programming knowledge in at least one of the following technology stacks: Python, Java, Node.js/TypeScript, or C#/.NET.
- Basic understanding of data structures, databases, REST APIs, operating systems, and client-server architecture.
- Familiarity with Git or another version control system.
- Experience completing at least one academic, personal, or open-source software project.
- Basic understanding of at least one Cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Interest in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, automation, system reliability, and technical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar.
- Ability to explain, validate, test, and troubleshoot code or configurations created with AI assistance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, ownership, and continuous learning mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Linux command-line environments or scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, or container concepts.
- Exposure to CI/CD, networking, application deployment, or infrastructure automation.
- Personal or academic projects involving backend development, REST APIs, databases, system integration, deployment, or automation.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
