We are looking for a motivated Junior - Mid-level Data Engineer to support the development and operation of ETL pipelines for air cargo-related data. The role involves working with AWS-based data services and Aurora PostgreSQL to extract, transform, and process large-scale data efficiently while collaborating across teams using modern workplace tools.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ETL processes for air cargo-related data extraction and transformation.

Build and manage data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, and MWAA (Airflow).

Work with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL to design and optimize database processing.

Perform SQL development, including writing queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Process and transfer data using S3-based file systems and sFTP integrations.

Ensure secure data handling using AWS KMS (encryption/decryption).

Collaborate with stakeholders using Google Workspace and document deliverables in Confluence.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, web systems, or network dependencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

Strong experience with Oracle DB and PostgreSQL, including SQL and stored procedures.

Hands-on development experience with Python, AWS Lambda, and Spark.

Experience with AWS data services: MWAA, Glue, Redshift, RDS, Athena.

Strong SQL skills with experience in analysis and performance tuning.

Experience in S3-based file processing, Iceberg, and sFTP data transfers.

Understanding and practical use of CI/CD processes.

Knowledge of data security practices, including AWS KMS.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of Oracle and PostgreSQL DDL/DML operations.

Experience using collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and Confluence.

Experience optimizing and handling large-scale data processing.

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to web technologies and networks.
