Job Description
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Independently lead data-driven market and competitor analyses to identify trends, growth opportunities, risks, and potential disruptors.
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators, regulatory developments, and industry dynamics to assess business impact.
- Systematically track competitors’ pricing, product features, value propositions, and marketing activities; synthesize implications into clear strategic recommendations.
- Quantitative Research (Core Focus)
- Independently design and execute end-to-end quantitative research aligned with business objectives (e.g., U&A, segmentation, pricing, concept testing).
- Hands-on experience with survey platforms (Qualtrics, Alchemer/SurveyGizmo) and full ownership of survey setup and data quality control.
- Strong proficiency in SPSS with solid statistical foundation (regression, driver analysis, factor/cluster analysis, significance testing).
- Analyze complex datasets independently and translate statistical outputs into clear, actionable business insights.
- Ensure methodological rigor and high data accuracy throughout the research process.
- Qualitative Research (Complementary)
- Independently manage qualitative projects with agency partners, including brief development, discussion guide alignment, and output evaluation.
- Synthesize qualitative findings and integrate them with quantitative results to form holistic insights.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop structured, insight-led reports and executive-ready presentations with clear storylines and strategic implications.
- Move beyond descriptive reporting to identify drivers, root causes, and forward-looking recommendations.
- Proactively identify additional analyses needed without waiting for direction.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as a thought partner to Product, Business Development, and Marketing teams by proactively shaping problem statements and analytical approaches.
- Operate with high autonomy, managing timelines and stakeholders with minimal supervision.
- Continuously improve analytical frameworks and research methodologies based on business evolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS or equivalent).
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience, ideally in Market Research, Consulting, or Marketing.
- Strong analytical thinking and business acumen.
- Good command of English and Vietnamese, with basic stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
- Well-organized, proactive, and adaptable, with strong execution and project coordination skills.
- Proficient in quantitative survey (Qualtrics, Alchemer/SurveyGizmo) and data analysis tools (SPSS, Excel, R).
- Comfortable working with qualitative data and synthesizing insights.
- Certifications in Market Research, Data Analysis, or related areas.
- Experience working in a multinational company or with international clients.
- Proven track record of managing research projects from conception to completion.
