VPBank Technology Hackathon is a professional technology competition organized by VPBank with a completely new scale and format, first launched in 2024. Participants will select a technology challenge provided by the organizers and collaborate to develop ideas and solutions on the AWS cloud computing platform. Throughout the competition, experienced experts from VPBank and AWS will accompany and guide the teams on how to approach, analyze, and build solutions that meet the specific requirements of each technology challenge in the banking and finance sector. The practical technology challenges in the banking field provide participants with an opportunity to apply knowledge and practice in a real-world environment, create and deploy innovative solutions with the potential to be invested in as projects, join the talented young team at VPBank, and experience a modern work environment that is highly invested in technology.

In addition to attractive cash prizes from VPBank and AWS Credits from the sponsors, participants will have opportunities to learn from leading technology experts from VPBank & AWS. The competition also opens up career opportunities at VPBank for outstanding participants, such as official recruitment into the VPBank Young Talents 2025 program with appealing benefits and a specialized career path, as well as the chance to continue developing solutions from the Hackathon into full-scale projects if their practical application potential is convincing. Through this technology competition, VPBank will select young talents for the VPBank Technology Talents Program and offer career paths in the banking and finance sector for candidates in Technology and Data Science, with opportunities to participate in leading-edge technology projects that are strategic and highly invested.

I. PROGRAM INFORMATION

1. Eligibility:

   • Applicants with at least 2 years of experience in IT/Data/Technology;

   • Encouraged: Final-year students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, or graduates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher from universities in Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields.
