Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a foundational understanding of Sales procedures.
- Collaborate with other units and departments to understand their responsibilities.
- Maintain an organized filing system.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, redirecting or taking messages as necessary.
- Prepare documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Handle general inquiries from various stakeholders.
- Arrange appointments and meetings as required.
- Assist in follow-ups on contracts and related paperwork.
- Maintain and manage the database efficiently.
- Support promotional events and familiarization trips as needed.
- Oversee stock control of promotional collateral.
- Execute advertising and creative briefs in a timely manner.
- Create artwork for flyers for direct mail purposes and assist in promotional activities for rooms and conferences.
- Update and maintain promotional flyers regularly.
- Keep an adequate stock of printed materials.
- Coordinate and ensure the supply of corporate gifts and promotional items.
- Assist in the preparation of new products and services.
- Uphold confidentiality on all matters at all times.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging customers, employees, and third parties, positively reflecting on the hotel and brand.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective writing skills.
- Good command of the English language.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
